April is a month for Appreciation
April is a time for Appreciation. We are watching the flowers bloom as we experience the beauty of Spring. We get to enjoy longer days which allow us to see the sunset just a little bit later each day. How much time do we really spend appreciating what we have- both the little and bigger things. As I sit here writing this blog post I appreciate the taste of the warm coffee on my lips. I appreciate the bird flying outside and landing on a tree in my backyard. I appreciate the home I am so grateful to have with my children. I appreciate deeply those I love and hold close in my life, and those who feel the same way about me. What do you appreciate?
We are all busy people. It is very easy to go go go from the minute our alarm goes off in the morning until we lay our head on our pillow at night to sleep. I encouarge you to please take a moment to appreciate life- appreciate your breath, your body, your surroundings, and all that is yet to come. The moment we can appreciate what we have, we are more positive and able to enjoy a life of happiness and pleasure.
